Our board is dedicated to showcasing Taiwanese culture and fostering a community for our members. We pride ourselves in providing a home away from home - no matter where you come from or who you are, we welcome everyone of all backgrounds into our family. Our diverse and accomplished board exemplify this value, working towards a common goal of forming long-lasting friendships and spreading the unique culture of Taiwan.

Supreme Leader Sean Na is a junior from Long Island, NY majoring in Biology. Sean is a thicc boi of many talents: a ladykiller (but also respectful gentleman), a prime-time memer, a Leader Among Men, with thousands of confirmed kills on PUBG. Most importantly, he is a real sweetheart and insanely committed to making PTS the best community it can be for its members. When he’s not bullying his Exec VP, he can be found flexin on his haters in the gym or dabbin on his haters on stage with Pan Asian Dance Troupe.
Meet William ZhuoMing Li, the great meme lord in the history of memes, otherwise known as Will or Billy (for childhood nostalgia’s sake). He shows affection through roasts and sending you inappropriate memes. When he’s not doing these things or going crazy over MLB or spilling liquids on the floor, you can find him chatting up the many people he knows on campus or nerding out to a nice good book. Contrary to what you may believe from the above description, Will is actually 3cool5us when he longboards around campus. Will’s spirit candy would be the kind of chocolate that has those pop rocks in the middle -- he seems deceivingly normal at first glance/taste(?) but surprises you with all these weird quirks/hobbies after a short while of getting to know him but ultimately settles into a being that is sweet and just wants to get to know you as a person. :’)
Fiona Tsai is a smol but independent strong woman who studies Biology and loves to travel and bop to hip hop. Hailing from Taipei and described as having the “most Taiwanese pride” by Andrew Tsai (unrelated), she is probably the best equipped to teach you everything you want to know about Taiwan. Outside of PTS, you can catch our wonderfully sassy External VP playing trombone in Jazz band, doing medical work in South America, or being a srat star in Alpha Kappa Delta Phi.
w0w who is that?? WOW ITS A JENYEN!!! Catch this Internal VP running 7 mph at the gym, walking all over campus to hang out with people, and of course, napping in a high rise floor lounge - while you're at it, tackle her with a hug! It'll give you bonus points :3 Test her knowledge on various bugs, let her show you her amazing pictures from Spain, and and ask about her favorite French rapper. No matter which you do, you'll have a great time with Jen. Oh, and if you couldn't tell, Jen is super active, which might explain her speed-of-light eating.
Rachel hails from the birthplace of the Taipei 101 skyscraper (for those of you who don’t know, that is Taipei), but was originally born in Seoul, South Korea. She is a freshmen in the College, and is pursuing a degree in Communications. No one can question her communication skills, as showcased by her unprecedented performance in selling presales (watch out Nora!). When not hounding people about PTS events, Rachel can be found staying up to unreasonable hours in the night and taking snapchats of the weather (in CELSIUS). Rachel is an amazingly sweet and cheerful person who is never afraid to say hi and strike up a conversation. Come say hi to Rachel at our next event!
She’s lived in Taipei, Shanghai, and Maryland - meet the well-traveled and artistic Hanwen Yang! You might find her on the stage or behind the scenes, directing/writing/marketing, but one can’t deny that she is 100% a theatre person. Ask her about how she apparently knows Japanese, her favorite baby names, or for Asian dessert recipes - I guarantee you won’t regret getting to know the quirky and very sweet Hanwen better :>
Alvin Tsuei is literally the most impressive person you will ever met. Not only is he in 10922981 clubs, but he handles all of it + schoolwork + life with ridiculous efficiency (even if it’s Math 114…RIP). Even though he never responds to you (there is 0 shame in double/triple/quadruple texting this one), he’ll always bring you food if you ask (and even when you don’t ask) and his Big really, really appreciates that. Stop him on Locust and ask him about Taiwanese history, nightlife in Taiwan, and why he wore a tie to Gen. Board pictures.
When not being insanely cool kid he is, Paul Lin is seen frequently working working on bettering the environment. He has had the audacity to dress up as Naruto for Halloween and god knows what he has done since then. Originally from Seattle, Washington, he currently resides in Clarksville, Maryland where he causes trouble for all the neighboring seniors he lives next to. As a taker of naps, there is no place he hasn’t. According to him, he has fallen asleep during his SATS and definitely more than once in Van Pelt. He is PTS’ amazing cultural director for this year and he hopes to bring Taiwanese Culture to you!!
